Maureen Dias

A position she held in 05-06 as well. She has worked as an actor and Resident Artist with the Arizona Commission on the Arts, Childsplay and Valley elementary, middle and high schools. Dias studied acting at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York and holds a BLS from Arizona State University. She is a member of Theatre Artists Studio in Phoenix where she directs and performs when time allows. Working with Greasepaint allows Maureen to work with the two things most important to her – kids and theatre.

Daniel Schay
Daniel joined Phoenix Theatre as Managing Director in July 2004; he has spent his career in the arts as an administrator, producer, and director. Daniel served 6 years as Executive Director of the Sedona Cultural Park, responsible for the programming and development of its 50-acre campus of arts and educational facilities and the Sedona International Film Festival. Before coming to Arizona, he served as Managing Director of the Philadelphia Drama Guild and as Producing Artistic Director of the Merrimack Repertory Theater in Massachusetts. As a consultant, he has worked with theater and dance companies all over the country. Daniel has also served as a program evaluator for the National Endowment for the Arts, and has been a theater grants panelist for the arts councils of Massachusetts, Florida, and Maryland, and for the Arizona Commission on the Arts. Daniel has directed five plays for Phoenix Theatre’s New Works Festival, and over 30 productions at regional theatres around the country. He has taught at Yale, Florida State University, and U. of Massachusetts/Lowell, and served on the boards of Arizona Town Hall, Arizonans for Cultural Development, the Arizona Presenter’s Alliance, the Sedona-Oak Creek Chamber of Commerce, and the Sedona Teen Center. He is a graduate of Yale University in English and Theater Administration. He is father of Adam, age 6, and husband of Barbara, a senior research analyst for Strategic Perspectives, Inc.
Treasurer
Pam Kirby

Pam has been a Greasepaint Board of Director since 2010, serving as Treasurer. A native of Dallas, TX, she moved to Arizona 15 years ago and has called Paradise Valley her home for the last 8 years. Pam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Texas @ Austin and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Pam worked for Arthur Andersen LLP, Marriott Corporation, and most recently, Frito-Lay until she left the workforce in 2006 to spend more time with her family and in her community. Since then, Pam has held many parent leadership positions in the Scottsdale Unified School District, serving on Site Councils, PTOs, Time Task Force and the Superintendent’s Blue Ribbon Advisory Council. She has also served as Treasurer for her HOA and the Event Co-Chair for the 2010 Paradise Valley Relay for Life (American Cancer Society). Pam currently serves on the Paradise Valley Town Council and the Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board.

Marylou Stephens
Marylou has been supporting youth theatre in our community for over 10 years. After a successful career in retail management and buying, she is now a proud member of the Phoenix Theatre staff as the Group Sales Manager in charge of Educational Programming. As the busy mother of two, she finds time to volunteer with various organizations around the valley that support youth and youth programming. Marylou has a Marketing/Business Management degree from Arizona State and can frequently be seen cheering on the Sun Devils! She expresses her gratitude for your support of Greasepaint Youth Theatre.
Tracy Bailey
Joined Greasepaint’s Board of Directors for the 2010-11 Season. Tracy has 12 years experience in non-profit management, marketing, communications and event planning. She is currently a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and serves as Director of Development for BASIS Charter Schools in Arizona. Tracy received her bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from the University of California Santa Barbara and enjoys acting, directing and writing for theatre and other creative projects.
Wendy Claus
Now a private communications consultant and stay-at-home mom, Wendy’s past includes 16 years as a corporate speechwriter for Valley National Bank, Bank One and Salt River Project. She earned her English degree from Colorado State University, where her academic emphasis was placed on 20th century American playwrights. Wendy furthered her studies of English and theater at Queen Mary College in London, and she has appeared onstage in many university and community productions.
