Sara Bernstein is an actor, director, musical theatre educator with credits in Arizona, Maryland, and Chicago. As a member of North Scottsdale’s Desert Foothills Theatre artistic community, Sara has directed Seussical Jr. (2011 – Multi-Arizoni nominee), Bye Bye Birdie (2010), City of Angels (2010), Love Letters (2009) and the Arizoni award-winning production of I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (2008) for which Sara also received an Arizoni for Best Director of a Musical. From 2005 – 2010, Sara served as Arizona Theatre Company’s Phoenix’s Education Manager where she introduced people of all ages to theatre and promoted arts education as well as directed and choreographed for Summer on Stage, ATC’s acting intensive program for high school students. Reynaldo J. Saenz (Music Director) is a professional pianist, synthesizer programmer and award-winning composer who performs both in the Valley and West Coast regions. A 16 year theater veteran, Reynaldo has played piano and synthesizer for more than 160 musicals and revues. Reynaldo has also been the principal pianist and original keyboardist for many of the Valley’s premieres, such as Black Theatre Troupe’s Caroline, or Change; AJTC’s Meshugga-Nuns; and Theater Works Triumph of Love to name a few. He also had the pleasure of being part of the West Coast run of Will Rogers Follies. His most recent Arizona projects include composing the full score for an adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s, “The Man Who Would Be King,” (2011- Arizoni Nominated for Best Original Score) and Theaterworks Miracle on 34th Street (2009 – Arizoni winner for Original Score). Reynaldo’s most recent Greasepaint credits include last season’s The Wiz (National Youth Theater Outstanding Production, Arizoni nominee Musical Direction). Reynaldo is member of the American Federation of Musicians, ASCAP and BMI.
